The following provisions are intended to define the general conditions of sale on the website available at the following address: chantalproulx.com, hereinafter “Chantal Proulx artist painter”.
Definitions
Seller (artist): Chantal Proulx
Buyer: any natural person who wishes to buy a work offered for sale by Chantal Proulx on the site chantalproulx.com. The sale of works is open to people with the legal capacity to contract under the applicable law.
Work: any work of art presented on the site chantalproulx.com.
Price
Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CA $).
All prices include taxes.
Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Payment
The buyer can pay using the PayPal service, using a credit card or a gift card purchased on the site.
Bank details (credit card) are encrypted during the transaction (SSL technology).
Delivery
The works shipped are not framed. They will be packed in such a way as to protect them during transport.
Delivery will be made to the address indicated on the order form.
The order processing time varies from 3 to 5 working days.
The cost of shipping to Canada is included in the price. For other destinations, the cost of shipping will be added to the price of the work indicated on the product sheet.
It is possible to recover a work in the artist’s studio.
The buyer can track his package using a tracking number that the seller will send him by email.
Compliance with delivery times and preservation in good condition of the work during delivery depend on the carrier. Consequently, no claim of any kind whatsoever can be claimed by the buyer Chantal Proulx in the event of delayed delivery or non-delivery.
Return and refund
In the event that the work is damaged during transport, it is possible to return the work to the seller. The buyer must contact the seller no later than 3 days after receipt. The return must be made no later than 7 days after receipt. The cost of the work as well as the initial delivery costs will be reimbursed to the buyer after receipt of the work. Return costs are the exclusive responsibility of the buyer.
The work must be returned in its original packaging with the accompanying certificate of authenticity.
Copyright
The artist remains the owner of the copyright.
All the elements appearing on the site are protected by copyright, trademark law and any other intellectual property law. The buyer may in no case use, copy, reproduce, modify or distort the work or its elements, including on the Internet, without the prior written authorization of the artist.
